Located in a stunning hillside setting, Mokau Motels offers a perfect retreat for a quick city break. Complete with a spacious kitchen and cozy beds, it provided a comfortable stay with all the necessary facilities. the gorgeous view from the room was a highlight, adding to the overall relaxed atmosphere. With excellent housekeeping and attention to detail, the room was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. the free toiletries, spacious lounge area, and Netflix availability were thoughtful additions that enhanced our experience. Being fully self-contained, the unit on the upper floor boasted breathtaking views of the mountains, sea, and river. the central location also allowed us to explore the surrounding area easily, with superb cafes within walking distance. the convenience of having laundry facilities and a kitchenette in the room made our stay hassle-free and comfortable. Although our visit was short this time due to attending a Tangi, we are already looking forward to returning for a longer stay to fully appreciate all that Mokau Motels has to offer. At an affordable price, this gem of a place is perfect for those seeking a peaceful pit-stop or a unique overnight stay. Can't wait to come back and explore more of this tranquil spot on our next journey through New Zealand.
